Our Story
Tailem Bend Bakery has been part of the local community for over 100 years, delighting generations of customers with fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and savouries. From classic favourites to seasonal treats, our bakery has always focused on quality, freshness, and flavour, a commitment that has made us a local favourite.

Over the decades, the bakery has evolved, introducing new products and adapting to changing tastes while always maintaining the traditions that make our offerings special. Every loaf, pie, and pastry is baked with care using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, ensuring the quality and flavour our customers have come to expect.

In September 2025, Tailem Bend Bakery entered an exciting new chapter under the ownership of The Swan Group, led by Craig and Kerry Swan. With their support and expertise, Coorong Bakeries continues to build on its proud heritage while strengthening operations and growing its presence across the region.

In May 2026, Coorong Bakeries expanded with the opening of two new stores Mannum Bakery and Murray Bridge Bakery, bringing the same commitment to quality and community to even more customers across the region.
