Our Story
Tailem Bend Bakery has been part of the local community for over 100 years, delighting generations of customers with fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and savouries. Over the decades, the bakery has evolved, introducing new products and adapting to changing tastes while always maintaining the traditions that make our offerings special. Every loaf, pie, and pastry is baked with care using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, ensuring the quality and flavour our customers have come to expect.
In September 2025, Tailem Bend Bakery entered an exciting new chapter under the ownership of The Swan Group, led by Craig and Kerry Swan. With their support and expertise, we are able to continue our bakery’s proud tradition while enhancing operations to better serve our community.
